Almost half of the companies (48 per cent) said they would consider the environmental impact when procuring ICT services or systems in 2022, or said they would take measures to reduce the energy consumption of ICT equipment (47 per cent). Almost three quarters of companies also ensured sustainable disposal of equipment and took measures to reduce paper consumption. It is mainly the large companies that opt for a more environmentally friendly approach. This is according to CBS' publication ICT, knowledge and economy 2023.
