Bechtle strengthens position in the Netherlands with new top management
Bechtle will appoint Marijke Kasius as Vice President for the Bechtle Group companies in the Netherlands effective January 1, 2024. The 39-year-old Kasius is currently CEO of Utrecht-based Managed Service Provider PQR, where she leads the company together with Managing Director Marco Lesmeister. PQR has been part of the Bechtle Group since May 2022.
The company will continue to be led by a two-headed leadership team: Marc van Rinsum will assume the role of Managing Director of PQR as of Jan. 1. Van Rinsum was previously Managing Director of Fondo, an IT service provider acquired by and integrated into PQR in April 2023. In her new position, Marijke Kasius will transfer from PQR to Bechtle and report directly to board member Konstantin Ebert.
This change in the management structure of the Bechtle companies in the Netherlands aims to strengthen the joint competitive position and achieve further growth.
"The appointment of Marijke Kasius as Vice President is important to strengthen our presence in the Netherlands. We are convinced that her experience, extensive network, expertise and leadership qualities will contribute to the successful development of our business in this important and fast-growing market," said Konstantin Ebert, Bechtle Group board member for IT e-commerce.
Entrepreneur with strong social commitment
Kasius has 15 years of experience in the IT sector in various companies and management positions. In 2022 she was voted CxO of the Year at the Dutch IT Channel Awards and in 2023 she was CxO of the Year at the Computable Awards. "I am very much looking forward to growing together with the whole team and positioning the Bechtle Group companies in our market as IT partners of the future. For this I will use my experience in setting up structures, building processes and inspiring people to achieve common goals," said Marijke Kasius.
