Widely known cryptocurrency analyst Jason Pizzino recently told his 290,000-plus subscribers on YouTube that the real altseason is yet to arrive, even though some digital assets are now rising. He indicated that, based on a historical pattern, it will not arrive until around October 2024.

He based his prediction on the spring market cycles around Bitcoin (BTC) halving events, which occur every four years. For instance, he indicated the following:

"This is not the real altseason most are waiting for. However, these are still very good gains. This is actually the precursor to the big explosive gains that we have yet to see in the market."

The trader indicated that Ethereum (ETH) experienced initial gains in October 2016 and October 2020, both years when the Bitcoin rally took place, followed by even bigger gains during what he completed as the altseason:

"So Ethereum, we have two cycles to look at here. ETH since the last cycle, October 2020, we had a 1,300% rise. October 2016… the first move to that low, 2,200%. Where's my other one? Here it is, 14,000%."
