Developer Program serves as a springboard for launching solutions on the Infor Marketplace
Utrecht, Oct. 27, 2023 - Infor®, the industry cloud company, announces the launch of a new Developer Program and Developer Portal. This provides developers with necessary information and tools to build applications on top of Infor cloud enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
The new Infor Developer Portal includes many basic concepts and definitions for developers to get started right away. It also includes a centralized library of application programming interfaces (APIs) and a series of specific tutorials that help developers gather the components needed to build innovative solutions. More than 50 tutorials are offered to complement Infor U courses and YouTube. The portal is the central place for developers to go, with links to product documentation, developer forums (Infor Communities) and best-practice guides.

The Infor Developer Portal also provides information for Infor's two main application development solutions: Infor Mongoose and Infor OS App Designer.
Infor Mongoose
Infor Mongoose is Infor's framework for rapid application development based on no-code, low-code and full-code. Mongoose helps developers quickly and easily design, build and deploy anything from an extension to one of Infor's ERP systems to building a complete stand-alone application. Developers work faster and more efficiently by using various wizards that reduce the need to "drop into code" and by leveraging Infor's flex layout, user components and HTML5 designer. With Infor Mongoose, developers create the desired user experience and user interface (UX/UI).
Infor OS App Designer
Infor OS App Designer (OAD) is an extensible application design tool that is part of the Infor OS Portal platform. It is designed as a serverless, multi-tenant, cloud-based development framework that allows users to develop widgets for the OS Portal with predefined templates. Those templates are ready to be used to connect to a data service, and the data service layer connects to any API within the API Gateway. OAD uses a design wizard that guides developers through the required steps to assign data to a widget template and configure and publish it.
Infor Marketplace
The launch of the Infor Developer Program and Developer Portal are an important step toward introducing the next generation of Infor Marketplace in 2024. In Marketplace, customers register to receive information and offers on a wide range of solutions and services from Infor and partners. Over the next year, Infor is developing the platform into a real-time provisioning platform.
