AI startup Watermelon is launching a new feature within their AI customer service system on Thursday, June 8: "web scraper. With this addition in the system, you can add all information from this (company) website to a chatbot using only a website link. This way, you can add large amounts of information to the chatbot in no time at all and it will always have up-to-date information.

Benefits for large webshops and busy customer service
The web scraper can especially make a difference for webshops with more than a hundred products, for example. For example, for a webshop with more than 10,000 products, everything can be loaded into the chatbot at once. This way, the chatbot is provided with the entire assortment within minutes. For this, you only need to copy and paste the website link. Prior to the introduction of this new feature, all items still had to be added to the chatbot manually.

In addition to large web shops, the new feature also offers help to organizations that receive large numbers of questions through customer service. Much of the answers are often in the help center on the website and this can now be easily loaded into the chatbot. In addition, it can be set to automatically reload all information from the website every 24 hours so that the chatbot is always up-to-date.
