October 26, 2023, London - Medius, a leader in automated invoice processing and expense management solutions, today announced the appointment of Emma Brown as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Emma Brown joins Medius at a pivotal time in the company's growth. Medius recently completed significant acquisitions, including the acquisition of Expensya, a Paris-based provider of claims software. In July of this year and OnPay Solutions, a Jacksonville-based bill payment service provider, in March 2022. In addition in August, the global fintech opened a new U.S. headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida.
Based in London, Emma Brown will be responsible for guiding Medius on its ambitious plan to double revenue by 2025. She will monitor the financial health of the company long-term. As Medius continues its mission in eliminating corporate fraud and inefficiencies by delivering AI-driven software solutions for inbound invoice processing and expense management. A forerunner in digital transformation, Emma Brown will be committed to product development. As CFO, she represents the views of Medius' clients as CFOs strive for greater productivity and financial control.
Emma Brown has 14 years of experience scaling high-growth technology companies globally. She joined Medius from Consumer Intelligence Accelerator Platform Talkwalker. There she held a role as Group Chief Financial and Operating Officer. She will retain her board position there. Prior to Talkwalker, Emma Brown worked in the tech sector in both the U.K. and Australia. including at MedicalDirector, Smartways Logistics and Altium. Brown is a chartered accountant with a background in audit and consulting with EY, BDO and KPMG.
Emma Brown holds an MBA from the University of Sydney, where she received a fellowship from the UN Women National Committee Australia. It is an organization that promotes gender equality in leadership and the economic empowerment of women. Furthermore, she received the fellowship in recognition of her commitment to positive and inclusive social change. Particularly in her advocacy for parental leave and diversity policies.
