Utrecht - During the Dutch Cisco Partner Awards ceremony, Telindus received the Cisco Security Partner of the Year award. According to Cisco, Telindus has demonstrated an impressive commitment to security year after year and has shown triple-digit growth over the past year, which runs from August 2022 to August 2023. This contributed to the recognition in the form of this award, which is presented annually to partners who have excelled in working with Cisco and applying Cisco technology.

Secure Access Service Edge
Telindus' success in secure infrastructure in the Cisco domain is based on several pillars. First and foremost is the marketing of SASE, Secure Access Service Edge. Telindus was named a SASE Lighthouse Partner by Cisco in 2022. On this basis, the strategic IT partner will receive full support to further expand the SASE proposition and successfully market it. SASE combines networking and security functions in the cloud for seamless and secure access to applications regardless of time or place. All this is offered as one combined and integrated cloud service. Telindus is currently rolling out this service to the province of Flevoland, among others.

Extended Detection and Response
A second pillar relates to Cisco's Extended Detection and Response (XDR) platform. Telindus applies XDR to collect and analyze data across email, end-points, servers, cloud workloads and networks. This gives organizations insight and context into advanced threats. Which can then be analyzed, prioritized and remedied to prevent data loss and security breaches. With this holistic approach to security, Telindus is working toward a complete secure infrastructure and this concept is catching on in the market.

Security Automation, Orchestration and Response
The third pillar of the successful security proposition has to do with the desire - and now also the necessity - to automate security measures. With solutions from the SOAR stack (Security Automation, Orchestration and Response), organizations can improve efficiency by eliminating manual tasks, addressing incidents faster and enabling better collaboration between security teams. In this way, the complexity surrounding cybersecurity remains manageable.

In an accompanying jury report, Cisco reported, "Telindus has spent the past year building a full Managed Security Service based on Cisco architecture, including firewalls, email security and end-point protection. In addition, Telindus is taking the lead with its Security Maturity Assessments Service, which has resulted in improving our joint positioning in security solutions."

Intensive collaboration with Cisco
Jeroen Hentschke, Proposition Lead Security at Telindus, is proud to receive the Cisco Security Partner of the Year award: "The collaboration with Cisco is intensive and based on mutual respect for each other's security knowledge and experience. We really pull together to make organizations, and therefore society, more digitally resilient. We have recently completed some great projects with the Cisco solutions, including at Rijkswaterstaat and SSC-ICT. We are putting relatively new concepts like SASE, XDR and SOAR into practice and I am pleased that our efforts in this area are being recognized by Cisco."
